AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR CONVEYANCE
OF TAX -FORFEITED LAND
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore adopted its resolution
providing for acquisition of extension of the west half of Pennsylvania Avenue
from West 16th Street to West L14th Street within the corporate limits of the
City of St. Louis Park, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the following parcel of land, which is
required in order to complete said extension, has been forfeited to the State
of Minnesota for non-payment of taxes, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park
that the Mayor and City Manager be hereby authorized and directed to make appli-
cation to the StateiTax Commissioner and the County Board of Hennepin County
for conveyance to the City of St. Louis Park of the following tax -forfeited
lands, for public street purposes:

The East 30 feet of tract described as follows:
Beginning on the East line of the Northwest 1/4 of the South-
west 1/4 in Section 5, Township 117, Range 21, 850 feet South
of the Northeast corner thereof; thence West along the South
line of 114th Street as shown in the Plat of Turf and Paddock,
Hennepin County, Minnesota; thence South along the East line
of said Lot 21 to the Southeast corner thereof distant 210
feet; thence East parallel with the North line of -said
Northwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 to the East line thereof;
thence North along the East line thereof to the South line
of 14th Street, being the point of beginning.

RESOLUTION SETTING HEARING ON WATERMAIN
IMPROVEMENTS & BITUMINOUS STABILIZED BASE
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has filed his preliminary report
with the Council dated July 16,'1957, together with estimated cost for the
following Watermain Improvements and Bituminous Stabilized Base therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, that the Clerk be directed
to publish notice of hearing to be hled at the Council Meeting August 12, 1957
on the following proposed Watermain Improvements and Bituminous Stabilized
