HomeMy WebLinkAbout414 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1957/07/011 Resolution No. 14]11 Adopted July 1, 1957 ORDERING STREET AND ALLEY GRADING WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in the notice published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch June 20 and 27, 1957, re- lating to the public improvements hereinafter described and has heard all in- terested persons appearing at said meeting and has secured from the City Engineer a report advising it in a preliminary way that each proposed improve- ment is feasible, and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with other improvements, and the estimated cost of the improvements, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLui) by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the following public improvements be hereby ordered in accordance with plans and specifications which have been prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk, and which are hereby approved, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise for bids which will be opened by the City Manager July 17, 1957; the advertisement will include Improvement 57-37 on the condition that the Council will reserve the right to withdraw same if not ordered. LOUIS PARK WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Council by Nordquist Sign Company, Inc. for permit under Section 10.3-20 and 10.5 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of St. Louis Park for the following purpose: Erection of a 4' x 16' sign (64 sq. ft.) at 3361 Gorham Avenue (Town and Country Supply Company) and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the advices and recommendations of the Planning Commission and the effect of the proposed use on the health, safety and welfare of the occupants of the surrounding lands, existing traffic conditions, including parking facilities on adjacent streets, and the effect on values and properties in the surrounding area, therefore
