Resolution No. 412 Adopted June 24, 1957
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THS; EMPLOYMENT OF
GEORGE M HANSEN TO AUDIT THE ACCOUNTS AND
RECORDS OF THE CITY FOR THE 1957 FISCAL YEAR
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that George M. Hansen be hereby
employed to examine and audit the accounts and records of the City for the
1957 fiscal year and to prepare and submit copies of a report of such audit
to the City Council prior to March 15, 1958, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fee to be paid by the City for such
audit shall be based upon the time spent by the Auditor and his staff in pre-
paring such audit at the rate of $57.50 per day for senior accountants and
$42.50 per day for junior accountants, plus the costs of printing the audit
report copies aforementioned, provided, however, that the total cost shall
not exceed $4000.00, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said fees will be payable monthly upon
receipt of verified statements from the Auditor, provided, however, that 15%
shall be retained by the City until the final audit report has been received
and accepted by the City -Council, and _
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mr. Hansen shall accept the employment
provided herein by letter to the City Council.

RESOLUTION SETTING HEARING ON STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has filed his preliminary report with the
Council dated June 20, 1957, together with estimated cost for the following
Street Improvements therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City -Council, that the Clerk be directed to
publish notice of hearing to be held at the Council Meeting July 15, 1957
on the following proposed 2" Bituminous Surfacing:
