HomeMy WebLinkAbout408 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1957/06/17235 RESOLUTION NO. 407 Adopted June 17, 1957 ORDERING WATER MAIN CONSTRUCTION AND BITUMINOUS STABILIZED BASE WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in the notice published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch June 6 and 13, 1957, re- lating to the public improvements hereinafter described and has heard all interested persons appearing at said meeting and has secured from the City Engineer a report advising it in a preliminary way that each proposed improve- ment is feasible, and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with other improvements, and the estimated cost of the improvements. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the following public improvements be hereby ordered in accordance with plans and specifications which have been prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk, and which are hereby approved, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise for bids which will be opened by the City Manager July 17, 1957. Resolution No. 108 Adopted June 17, 1957 RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMIT UNDER SECTION 10.3 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Council by ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH for permit under Section 10.3-33 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of St. Louis Park for Use of Lots One (1) and Two (2), except the East One Hundred Thirty-five (135) feet of each and that part of Lot Eight (8) which lies East of traveled road now traversing said Lot Eight (8), and known as Texas Avenue as of this date, together with that portion of any street or alley adjacent to either 236 Resolution No. 1108 - continued of said lots, that may have been heretofore vacated or that may be hereafter vacated all in Beebe's Outlots in Section Five (5), Township One Hundred Seventeen (117), Range Twenty- one (21), City of St. Louis Park, containing ten :(10) acres, more or less, for Church purposes, and _ WHEREAS, the Council has considered the effect of the proposed use on the health, safety and welfare of the occupants of the surrounding lands, existing traffic conditions, including parking facilities on adjacent streets, and the effect on values and properties in the surrounding area, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that it is hereby determined that the said proposed use will not be detrimental to the health, safety or public welfare of the occupants of surrounding lands, nor will it cause serious traffic congestion, nor hazards, nor will it seriously depreciate surrounding property values, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permit be hereby granted to the applicant for the purpose above set forth.
