RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMIT
UNDER SECTION 10.3 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Council by Meyers Out-
door Advertising, Inc. for permit under Section 10.3 of the Zoning Ordinance
of the City of St. Louis Park for the following purpose: Special permit to
erect a billboard over 148 sq. ft. at Wayzata Boulevard and Penneylvania Ave.
- on end to end basis and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the advices and recommendations
of the Planning Commission and the effect of the proposed use on the health,
safety and welfare of the occupants of the surrounding lands, existing traffic
conditions, including parking facilities on adjacent streets, and the effect
on values and properties in the surrounding area, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that
it is hereby determined that the said proposed use will not be detrimental to
the health, safety or public welfare of the occupants of surrounding lands,
nor will it cause serious traffic congestion, nor hazards, nor will it serious-
ly depreciate surrounding property values, and
BE IT 1'w THER RESOLVED that permit be hereby granted to the applicant
for the purpose above set forth.
Resolution No. 372 Adopted February 25, 1957
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE AND APPROVAL
OF SECURITIES OF PARK PLAZA STATE BANK
WHEREAS, the Park Plaza State Bank has requested the release of the
$100,000.00 U. S. Treasury Bills dated December 13, 1956 due March 14, 1957,
pledged as security for the account of the City, and
WHEREAS, they are substituting $100,000.00 U. S. Treasury Notes due
May 15, 1960,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the release by the treasurer of the $100,000.00
U. S. Treasury Bills dated December 13, 1956 due March 14, 1957 be approved
and the deposit of $100,000.00 U. S. Treasury Notes due May 15, 1960 with the
Marquette National Bank of Minneapolis, be hereby accepted as security of the
City account with the Park Plaza State Bank.

MEMORIALIZING THE STATE LEGISLATURE FOR
RE -APPORTIONMENT BILL_
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City -Council of the City of St. Louis Park that
the legislature of the State of Minnesota be hereby memorialized and urged to
adopt H.F. No. 1.50, known as the Bergerud Re -Apportionment Bill, of S.F. No.
101, containing similar provision for constitutional re -apportionment of the
legislative districts of the State of Minnesota.
