Amended Resolution No. 353 Adopted January 7, 1957
GRANTING PERMIT TO FORSTER DISTRIBUTING CO.
TO CONNECT WITH WATER MAIN
BE IT RESOLvLi that Resolution No. 353 be hereby amended to read as follows:
BE IT. RESOLVED by the City Council that,the Director of Public Works be
authorized to issue permit to Forster Distributing Company to connect its office
and warehouse located at
in the Village of Golden Valley, with the City of St. Louis Park water main
in Wayzata Boulevard approximately 300 feet from said premises, upon the following
conditions which are to be accepted in writing by said Forster Distributing Co.:
1. The said Forster Distributing Co. shall pay to the City Treasurer the
sum of $2,602 as a connection fee, representing the equivalent assessable cost of
the existing water main serving said premises.
2. The said Forster Distributing Co. shall pay the regular tapping fee
prescribed by ordinance.
3. The said Forster Distributing Co. shall provide its own service con-
nection.
4. No other person shall be permitted to draw or use water from said
service connection and said connection shall serve the said warehouse and office
only.
5. The said Forster Distributing Co., and its successors and assigns to
the said premises served by the said water main connection, shall be deemed at all
times to accept and be governed by all ordinances, and rules and regulations of
the Water Department of the City of St. Louis Park, and shall be obligated to pay
for all water furnished to said premises.from the water supply system of the City
at such rates as shall be from time to time in effect and applicable to water fur-
nished to non-residents of the City.
That the land to be connected under this permit is described as follows:
That part of Section 4, Township 117, Range 21 described as follows:
Commencing at a point 300 feet North and 33 feet West of the East Corner
of said Section 4, Township 117, Range 21; Thence West parallel with the South
line of the North a of said Section 200 feet; Thence South parallel with the East
line of said Section 150 feet; Thence West parallel with the South line of the
North 2 of said Section 300 feet; Thence North at right angles 100.00 feet;
Thence West at right angles 130 feet; Thence North 265.00 feet at a deflection
angles of 89°45' 288 feet; Thence East 630.4 feet to a point 238 feet North of
the point of beginning and 33 feet West of the East line of Section 4, Township
117, Range 21, measured at right angles; Thence South 238.00 feet to the point
of beginning.

APPROVING THE PROPOSED 1957 METROPOLITAN
PLANNING BILL
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the
Proposed 1957 Metropolitan Planning Bill as prepared in tentative form by the
League of Minnesota Municipalities be hereby approved for adoption by the
Legislature of the State of Minnesota.
