RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT OF STREETS
_BY APPLICATION OF STABILIZED_ BASE
WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in the
notice published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch November 15 and 22, 1956, re-
lating to the public improvements hereinafter described and has heard all-inter-
ested,persons appearing at said meeting and has secured from the City Engineer
a report advising it in a preliminary way as to whether each proposed improve-
ment is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvements, and the estimated cost of the improve-
ments;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis
Park that the following public improvements be hereby ordered in accordance
with plans and specifications which have been prepared by the City Engineer and
filed with the City Clerk.

RESOLUTION APPROVING SECURITIES FOR COLLATERAL
FROM CITIZENS STATE BANK OF.ST. LOUIS. PARK _
WHEREAS, on November 12, 1956, the City Council designated the Citizens
State Bank as a depository in an amount not to exceed $750,000.00 at any one
time, and
WHEREAS, the Citizens State Bank has presented as collateral, securities
in the amount of $500,000.00 described as follows:
$200,000 United States Treasury Bonds dated 2/15/53 22% due 12/15/58
100,000 Federal Land Bank 21% due 11/1/58
100,000 U. S. Treasury Bonds 2 due 11/15/58
100,000 U. S. Treasury Bills due 1/17/57

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the treasurer be authorized to accept
said securities as collateral and that said collateral be deposited with the
Marquette National Bank of Minneapolis, for safe keeping.

PROVIDING FOR ADOPTION OF AMENDED PERSONNEL
RULES AND REGULATIONS

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2144 as amended by -Resolution No. 278, the
City Council has heretofore adopted and made effective rules and regulations
relating to conditions of employment of personnel employed by the City and the
City Manager has recommended further amendments and revisions thereof, the
said rules and regulations being numbered Sections 1:300 thru 1:327 inclusive,
and a copy of same as so amended and revised being hereto_ attached, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that
the said rules and regulations as hereto attached be hereby adopted and made
effective as of December 29, 1956, and shall supersede and amend said rules
and regulations as adopted by Resolution No. 244 and amended by Resolution
No. 278.
Resolution No. 352 Adopted December 17, 1956
RESOLUTION APPROVING SECURITIES FOR COLLATERAL
FROM PARK PLAZA STATE BANK OF ST. LOUIS PARK_
WHEREAS, on November 12, 1956, the City Council designated the Park
Plaza State Bank as a depository for City funds in an amount not to exceed
$300,000.00 at any one time, and
WHEREAS, the Park Plaza State Bank has presented as additional
collateral up to $300,000.00 securities in the amount of $150,000.00 de-
scribed as follows:
$100,000.00 U. S. Treasury Bills dated 12/13/56 due 3/14/57
$$ 50,000.00 U. S. Treasury Bills dated 11/16/56 due 2/15/57
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the treasurer be authorized to accept
said securities as collateral and that said collateral be deposited with the
Marquette National Bank of Minneapolis, for safe keeping.
