LEVYING RE -ASSESSMENT
WHEREAS, the City -Council has met at the time and place specified in
the notice of hearing on proposed re -assessment published in the St. Louis
Park Dispatch on November 15, 1956, relating to re -assessment for Water Main
Improvement No. 54-91, and
WHEREAS, the City -Council hereby determines, on advice of the City
Attorney, that the assessment for said project heretofore levied may properly
be corrected because of property inadvertently omitted from said assessment
and because of property assessed in excess of benefit therein, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that
the proposed re -assessment prepared by the City Assessor, on file with the
City Clerk, be hereby adopted as the re -assessment of the cost of said Water
Main project as provided by § 429.071, Minnesota Revised Statutes, and the
Clerk is hereby directed to certify the said re -assessment to the County
Auditor in place of the assessment previously levied by Resolution dated
August 22, 1955.

AUTHORIZINGIAPPLICATION FOR CONVEYANCE OF
TAX -FORFEITED LANDS
WHEREAS, the following parcels of land described in paragraph 1 hereof
have been forfeited to the State of Minnesota for non-payment of taxes, and
the Director of Public Works having examined each of same and determined that
acquisition by the City is necessary in order to provide for continued drain-
age of public streets in the vicinity, and it appearing to the Council that
it is necessary and desirable that each of said parcels be acquired by the
City for public drainage purposes, and
WHEREAS, the following parcels of land described in paragraph 2 hereof
have been forfeited to the State of Minnesota for non-payment of taxes, and
the Director of Public Works having examined the same and recommended to the
Council that the same be acquired as an addition to Oak Hill Park, and it
appearing to the City Council that said parcils are a necessary and desirable
addition to said park which is an existing public park of the City,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park as
follows:
1. That the Mayor and City Manager be hereby authorized and directed
to make application on behalf of the City to the County Board and State Tax
Commissioner for conveyance of the following described parcels of tax -for-
feited land to the City of St. Louis Park for public drainage purposes:
Lots 9 thru 14, Block 1, Park Manor
Lot 30, Block 4, Park Manor
Lots 1 and 2, Block 5, Park Manor
Lot 6, except railroad right-of-way including adjoining
172 of street vacated Block 160, Rearrangement of St. Louis Park
