HomeMy WebLinkAbout335 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1956/11/12191 Resolution No. 334 Adopted November 5, 1956 BE IT RESOLVED that the City enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Highways for the following purposes, to -wit: To assume z of cost of installation of three-phase traffic control at Highway No. 100 and Excelsior Boulevard, the entire cost of which is estimated to be $2,344.42. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager be and they hereby are authorized to execute such agreement. Resolution No. 335 Adopted November 12, 1956 ORDERING SANITARY SEWER CONSTRUCTION AND BITUMINOUS SURFACING OF STREETS WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in the notice published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch November 1 and 8, 1956, re- lating to the public improvements hereinafter described and has heard all inter- ested persons appearing at said meeting and has secured from the City Engineer a report advising it in a preliminary way as to whether each proposed improve- ment is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improve- ments; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the following public improvements be hereby ordered in accordance with plans and specifications which have been prepared by the City -Engineer and filed with the City Clerk, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to adver- tise for bids which will be -opened by the City Manager December 5, 1956 at 10 a.m. SANITARY SEWER AND BITUMINOUS SURFACING OF STREETS r. No. 76;3767 --Colorado Avenue from West 33rd Street to 300 feet south; 56-97 On North side Highway 7 from Natchez Avenue to Ottawa Avenue; On Ottawa Avenue from State Highway 7_to 660 feet north. Resolution No. 336 Adopted November 12, 1956 ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF BRIDGE WHEREAS, the City -Council has met at the time and place specified in the notice published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch on November 1 and 8, 1956, relating to proposed bridge construction, Improvement No. 56-98, and has heard all interested persons appearing at said meeting, and has secured from the City Engineer a report advising it in a preliminary way that said proposed im- provement is feasible, and that it should best be made as proposed and not in connection with any other improvement, and the estimated cost thereof, and
