HomeMy WebLinkAbout319 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1956/10/22183 Resolution No. 318 Adopted October 15, 1956 RESOLUTION ORDERING CURB AND GUTTER CONSTRUCTION WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk a sufficient petition signed by all owners of Lot 30, Block 2, Wooddale Park, accompan- ied by letter dated October 4, 1956 signed by said owners requesting construct- ion of curb and gutter in Princeton Avenue adjacent to said premises, in which petition and letter the owners waive all notices and hearings and consent to an assessment for the cost thereof against said property, and WHEREAS, due to the lateness of the season the work cannot be completed in 1956 unless ordered immediately, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that curb and gutter be constructed, with 1/ gutter in Princeton Avenue adjacent to Lot 30, Block 2, Wooddale Park, in accordance with standard city specifications for the same and that the Director of Public Works be authorized to order the work to be done by Victor Carlson & Sons, Inc. under its latest contract with the City, at the unit prices therein specified, the cost to be assessed against the said premises. Resolution No. 319 Adopted October 22, 1956 RESOLUTION ORDERING SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in the notice published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch October 11. and 18, 1956, relating to the public improvements hereinafter described and has heard all interested persons appearing at said meeting and has secured from the City Engineer a report advising it in a preliminary way as to whether each pro- posed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvements; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the following public improvements be hereby ordered consol- idated as one improvement in accordance with plans and specifications which have been prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk.
