Resolution No. 280 Adopted -August 27, 1956
RESOLUTION ORDERING GRADING, GRAVELING, STABILIZING
• AND BITUMINOUS SURFACING, WATER MAIN AND SANITARY
SEWER
WHEREAS the City Council has met at the time and place specified
in the notice published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch, August 16 and
23, 1956, relating to the public improvements hereinafter described and-
has
ndhas heard all interested persons appearing at said meeting and .has
secured •from the City Engineer a report advising it in a preliminary way
as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with
some other improvements, and the estimated cost of the improvements;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City. of St.
Louis Park that • the following public improvements be hereby ordered in
accordance with plans and specifications which have been prepared by the
City Engineer and filed with the City- Clerk.

RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMIT UNDER SECTION 10.3 OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK
•
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Council by Nordquist
Sign Company for permit under Section 10.3 of -the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of St. Louis Park for the following purpose: For the erection of a
6' x 10' sign (in excess of 48 sq. ft.) flatwise on building at 1140 Excel-
sior Boulevard and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the advices and recommendations of
the Planning Commission and -the effect of the proposed use on the -health,
safety and welfare of the occupants of the surrounding - lands, existing
traffic conditions, including parking facilities on adjacent streets, and
the effect on values and properties in the surrounding area, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that
it is hereby determined that the said proposed use will not be detrimental
to the health, safety or public welfare of the occupants of surrounding
lands, nor will it cause serious traffic congestion, nor hazzards, nor will
it seriously depreciate surrounding property values, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permit be hereby granted to the applicant
for the purpose above set forth.
