HomeMy WebLinkAbout276 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1956/08/13156 Resolution No. 276 Adopted August 13, 1956 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT WITH INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 205 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the Mayor and City Manager be hereby authorized to execute on be- half of the City proposed agreement with Independent'School District No. 205 relative to the operation of a jointly sponsored recreation program, which has been approved by the City Attorney. Resolution No. 277 Adopted August 20, 1956 RESOLUTION ORDERING SANITARY TRUNK SEWER CONSTRUCTION, WHEREAS, the,City Council has net at the time and place specified in a notice published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch August 9 and 16, 1956, relating to proposed sanitary trunk sewer construction Improvement No. 56-52, and has heard all interested persons appearing at said meeting, and having secured from the City Engineer a report advising in a preliminaiy way that said improvement is feasible and should best be made as proposed and not in connection with any other improvements, except that said im- provement should be made concurrently with proposed storm sewer con- struction, Improvement no. 56-53, and the Council having determined that said proposed sanitary sewer is necessary in the public interest, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that construction of proposed sanitary trunk sewer be hereby ordered to be located generally as follows: Commencing at the outlet sewer in Ortler Pass in the Village of Golden Valley; thence southerly over the right-of-way of the Great Northern Railway at a point to be determined and thence southerly and westerly to intersection of Parklands Road and Forest Road; thence southwesterly to the intersection of West 26th Street and Natchez Avenue; thence westerly along West 26th Street to Hampshire Avenue; thence northwesterly along Hampshire Avenue extended and Kentucky Lane to Cedar Lake Road; thence westerly along Cedar Lake Road to Hennepin County Road No. 18 (Jordan Ave.); Also in Zarthan Avenue from West 26th Street to West 14th Street; thence west in West 14th Street to Hampshire Avenue: Also in Rhode Island Avenue from Cedar Lake Road southwesterly to West 26th Street and westerly in West 26th Street to Virginia Avenue; southerly in Virginia Avenue to the right-of-way of the Great Northern Railway and thence Southwesterly over right-of-way to be acquired to the intersection of Boone Avenue and West 32nd Street extended;
