RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION IMPOSING RESTRICTIONS ON USE OF WATER BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that Resolution No. 246 adopted by the City Jeouncil June 11, 1956, entitled "Lawn Sprihkling.Restriction", be hereby amended to read as follows: RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park: 1. That a shortage of water supply threatens the City, and it is necessary to limit the times and hours during which water may be used from the city water supply system for sprinkling and irrigation. 2. Until further ,action of the City Council the use of water from the city water supply system is hereby prohibited during each ddy from 4 o'clock P.M. to 8 O'clock P.M.; and during all of each even numbered day of the month on or at any premises adjacent to the side of a street where residences and buildings are designated with odd numbered street numbers; and during all of each odd numbered day of the month on or at any premises adjacent to the side of a street where residences and buildings are designated with even numbered street numbers. RESOLUTION SETTING HEARING ON SANITARY SEWERS WHEREAS, the City Engineer has filed his report with the Council dated June 13, 1956, together with estimated cost for each of the following sanitary sewer improvements, therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council that the Clerk be directed to publish notice of hearing to be held at the Council meeting July 23, 1956, on the follow- ing proposed sanitary sewer improvements., : Imjnr,. Adopted June 25, 1956 A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE EMPLOYMENT OF GEORGE M. HANSEN TO AUDIT THE ACCOUNTS AND RECORDS OF THE CITY FOR THE 1956 FISCAL YEAR BE IT RESOLVED by the JCity Council that George M. Hansen be hereby employed to examine and audit the accounts and records of the City for the 1956 fiscal year and to prepare and submit fifteen copies of a report of such audit to the City Council prior to March 15, 1957, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fee to be paid by the City for such audit shall be based upon the time spent by the Auditor and his staff in preparing such audit at the rate of $55.00 per day for senior accountants and $40.00 per day for junior accountants, plus the costs of printing the audit report copies aforemen- tioned, provided, however, that the total cost shall not exceed $4500.00, and 140 1 Resolution No. 251 continued BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said fees will be payable monthly upon receipt of verified statements from the Auditor, provided, however, that 15% shall be retained by the City until the final audit report has been received and accepted by the City Council, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mr. Hansen shall accept the employment provided herein by letter to the City Council. Resolution No. 252 Adopted July 2, 1956 RESOLUTION ORDERING WATER MAIN EXTENSION WHEREAS the City Council has met at the time and place specified in the notice published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch June 21 and 28, 1956, relating to the public improvements hereinafter described and has heard all interested persons appearing at said meeting and has secured from the City Engineer a report advising it in a preliminary way as to whether each proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other im- provements, and the estimated cost of the improvements; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the following public improvements be hereby ordered in accordance with plans and specifications which have been prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise for bids which will be opened by the City Manager July 16, 1956. Improvement No. Location 56-45 Water main Extension in Edgewood Ave. from Dakota Ave. to West Franklin Ave; and in W. Franklin Ave. from Cedar Lake Rd. to Edgewood Ave. Resolution No. 253 RESOLUTION ORDERING WATER MAIN EXTENSIONS WHEREAS the City Council has met at the time and place specified in the notice published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch June 14 and 21, 1956, relating to the public improvements hereinafter described and has heard all interested persons appearing at said meeting and has secured from the City Engineer a report advising it in a preliminary way as to whether each proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvements, and the estimated cost of the improvements; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the following public improvements be hereby ordered in accordance with plans and specifications which have been prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise for bids which will be opened by the City Manager July 16, 1956.
