RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION
FOR CONVEYANCE OF TAX FOREEITED LANDS
WHEREAS, it appears that parcels of land numbered 37286, 37287 and 37288
have been forfeited to the State of Minnesota for nonpayment of taxes, and
said parcels are needed by the City for Public drainage purposes, being situated
in a low area which serves as a natural depository for surface waters, and if
said lots were filled a serious drainage problem would result to adjacent streets
and property, and
WHEREAS, Parcel No. 37299 which has been forfeited to the State Of Minnesota
for nonpayment of taxes lies adjacent to other lots which have been acquired by
the City for public park purposes and the City requires said parcel to complete
said park,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis
Park that the City Manager and Mayor be hereby authorized to make application to
the County Board of Hennepin County and the State Tax Commissioner for the convey-
ance of the following described parcels to the City for public drainage purposes:
Parcels numbered 37286, 37287 and 37288 (1948)
,L Lots 167, 168 and 169, Richmond.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager and Mayor be authorized to
execute an application to the County Board of Hennepin County and the State Tax
Commissioner for the conveyance of Parcel No. 37290 (1948) Lot 22, Block 4,
Westmoreland Park, for public park purposes.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JOINT SEWER
CONSTRUCTION IN GOLDEN VALLEY
RESOLVED by the City Council of :the City of St. Louis Park that the
option and right given the City_in contract for interconnection of sewers
entered into between the City of, St. Louis Park and the Village of Golden `
Valley dated March 5, 1956 be hereby exercises and the City Manager be
hereby directed to notify the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley that the City of St. Louis Park will undertake joint construction
of interseptor sewer under the terms of said contract, it being understood
that bids have been received by the Village of Golden Valley for constructing
said sewer in accordance with approved specifications, and that the bid of the
lowest responsible bidder in the sum of $678,536.50 will be accepted and con-
tract entered into.
