RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMIT
UNDER SECTION 10.3 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK
WHEREAS, application has been made_to the City Council by Ralph Rutledge
and Leonard E. Enga for special use permit under Section 10.3 of the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of St. Louis Park for the following purpose:
TO CONSTRUCT A MORTUARY ON LOTS 26 and 25, BLOCK 2,
MEADOWBROOK ADDITION
and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the advices and recommendations of the
Planning Commission and the effect of the -proposed use on the health, safety,
and welfate of the occupants of =surrounding lands, existing traffic conditions,
including parking facilities on adjacent streets, and_eff ect on values and pro-
perties in the surrounding area, therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that it is
hereby determined that the said proposed use will not be detrimental to the health,
safety or public welfare, to the occupants of surrounding lands, nor will it cause
serious traffic congestion, nor hazards, nor will it seriously depreciate surround-
ing property values, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permit be_herebygranted to the applicant for the
purpose above set forth on condition,that the owners of the premises execute the
release prepared by the City Attorney -relative to future -claims for any change of
grade of Excelsior Boulevard.

WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Council by•Meyers Outdoor
Advertising Company for permit under Section -10.3 of the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of St. Louis Park for the following purpose:
-TO ERECT A 3 x 8 x 6 x 10 (92 sq.ft.) sign at .6006 Excelsior Boulevard
and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the effect of the proposed use nn the health,
safety and welfare of the occupants of surrounding lands, existing traffic 'conditions,
including--parking---facilities on 'adjacent streets, and -effect on values and properties
in the surrounding area, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED 'by the City Council of the City.of St. Louis -Park that is here-
by determined that the said proposed use will not be detrimental_to the health,
safety or -public -welfare, to the occupants of -surrounding lands,, nor will it cause
serious traffic congestion, nor hazards, -nor will it seriously.depreciate surr-
ounding property values, -and
-BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permit be hereby granted to the applicant for
the purpose above set forth. -
