Resolution No. 201 Adopted January 16,-1956
On,motion of Councilman Schadow, seconded by Councilman Ehrenberg., ,the follow-
ing resolution was_adopted,by unanimouss,vote`of all members of the Council present:
RES 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, the City Councir of the City of St. Louis Park has reviewed the program
proposed by the Hennepin District Health and Safety Committee of the Boy Scouts of
America] ,,,Explorers Division ,which includes:,
Snow removal around hydrants
, „Fire prevention training ,
,Fire Safety demonstrations.,
and
WHEREAS, _it is ,the opinion of the City Council of. the City sof, St. Louis Park
that this ,program as described above is valuable to the Citizens of St. Louis
Park, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the,City, of, St. Louis Park does here-
by heartily, approve the program of the Explorers, with best wishes for a success-
ful year's activities.

On motion of Councilman Davis, seconded by Councilman Jorvig, the following
resolution having been read by the Secretary, was adopted by unanimous vote of
all Members of the Council present:
RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMIT
UNDER SECTION 10.3,OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Council by Christian Brothers
High School for permit under Section 10.3 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
St. Louis Park for the following purpose:
TO LOCATE THE CHRISTIAN BROTHERS HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING
ON PROPERTY OWNED BY LA SALLE INSTITUTE A CORPORATION
UNDER LAWS OF GLENCOA ILLINOIS AND,DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Plat 49731 - Parcel -1360 - Section 31 - Township 29 -
Range 24 - 53.2 Acres that part of S 2 of NW4 lying
East of State Highway #100 Except Street.
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the advices and recommendations of the
Planning Commission and the effect of the proposed use on the health, safety
and welfare of the occupants of surrounding lands, existing traffic conditions,
including parking,facilities on adjacent streets, and effect on values and pro-
perties in the surrounding area, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that it is
hereby determined that the said proposed use will not be detrimental to the
health, safety or public welfare, to the occupants of surrounding lands, nor
will it cause serious traffic congestion, nor hazards, nor will it seriously
depreciate surrounding property values, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permit be hereby granted to the applicant for
the purpose above set forth.
