On motion of' -Councilman Davis, seconded by Councilman Perkins , the following
resolution, having been read by the Secretary, was adopted by unanimous vote of
all Members of the Council present.
RESOLUTION
RESOLVED that hearing be had July 11, 1955 on proposed opening of alley
over the rear 12 feet of Lots 16 to 30 inclusive, Block 3, Park Manor at an
estimated cost of $100.00; the area to be assessed to be aaid lots 16 to 30
inclusive; the Engineer is also directed to recommend proposed outlet of alley
to Brunswick Avenue.

On motion of Councilman Middleton, seconded by Councilman Davis, the
following resolution, having been read by the Secretary, was adopted by unan-
imous vote of all Members of the Council present:
RESOLUTION
RESOLVED that hearing be set for the Council Meeting of July 11, 1955, on
proposed Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 55-50, in France Avenue from Basswood
Road to Cedarwood Road, and in Cedarwood Road from France Avenue west to Lot 3,
Block 1, Basswood Addition at an estimated cost of $12,260.00, the adjacent
property to be assessed.

On motion of Councilman Middleton, seconded by Councilman Perkins, the
following resolution, having been read by the Secretary, was adopted by unani-
mous vote of all Members of the Council present:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONTRACT FOR INTERCONNECTION OF SEWERS
WHEREAS it is necessary to make provision for an outlet for the Sanitary
Sewers to be'constructed to serve the northerly portion of the City, and the
Cpuncil has determined the most economical and advisable route for such outlet
is through the Village of Golden Valley to the City of Minneapolis, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that
agreement between the Village of Golden Valley and the City of St. Louis Park
for joint construction and for joint use and maintenance of certain sanitary
sewer facilities which has been prepared by the City Attorney be hereby approved,
and the Mayor and Acting City Manager be authorized to execute such contract on
behalf of the City.

On motion of Councilman Bolmgren, seconded by Councilman Perkins, the
reading of the following resolution was waived by unanimous vote of all Members of
the Council present.
On motion of Councilman Bolmgren, seconded by Councilman Middleton, the foll-
owing resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of all Members of the Council present:
ASSESSMENT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in the
notice of assessment published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch May 19, 1955, stating
the general nature of the following improvements and the area proposed to be assess-
ed, acid has heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessments,
therefore

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the
proposed assessments on file in the office of the City•Clerk;'covering the cost
of the following described improvements, be hereby adopted as special assess-
ments against the lands named in said assessment rolls and there be hereby levied
against each of the respective tracts and parcels of land described therein the
respective assessment in the respective amounts therein set forth, and said re-
spective tracts and parcels of land are hereby found to be benefited in a sum
equal to the said respective assessments hereby levied. Said assessments shall
be payable in equal; annual installments extending over such period of year as
hereinafter respectively specified, the first of which shall be payable on the
first Monday in January, 1956 with interest at 5% per annum. To the first in-
stallment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of
this resolution until December 31, 1956, and to each subsequent installment
shall be added interest for one year.

following resolution, having been read by the Secretary, was adopted by unanimous
vote of all Members of the Council present:
RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION CANCELING 51-75, 76
SANITARY SEWER 6• WATER MAIN HOUSE CONNECTIONS #497 ASSESSMENT
WHEREAS it appears that on May 23, 1955, a resolution was adopted by the City
Council refunding the 1953 and 1954 payments and canceling the 1955 thru 1957 in-
stallments of the above assessment on Lot 46, Auditor's Subdivision #318, and
WHEREAS, before said resolution was adopted, the 1955 amount was-inadvert-
antly paid to the County Treasurer and therefore cannot be canceled now; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St: Louis Park that the
amounts in the former resolution be amended to read as follows:
