7. Any and all persons engaged in the aforesaid maintenance work to be per-
formed by the City shall be considered employees of the City and any and all
claims that may or might arise under the Workrgen?s Compensation Act of this
State on behalf of said employees while so engaged, and any and all claims
made by a ny third party as a consequence of any act or omission on the part of
said City Employees while so engaged in any of the work contemplated herein
shall be the sole obligation and respsaonsibility of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager be and they hereby
are authorized to execute such agreement.

resolution having been read by the Secretary,
all Members of the Council present:

was adopted by unanimous vote of
RESOLUTION ORDERING WATER MAIN EXTENSION
WHEREAS the City Council has met at the time and place specified in the notice
published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch March 31 and April 7, 1955, relating to
the public improvements hereinafter described and has heard all interested per-
sons appearing at said meeting and has secured from the City Engineer a report ad-
vising it in a preliminary way as to whether each proposed improvement is feas-
ible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with
some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended;
therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the
following public improvements be hereby ordered in accordance withplans and spec-
ifications which have been prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City
Clerk, ,and the City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise for bids at such time
as it shall be determined by the City Manager that this improvement may be done
by contract with other water main improvements.

In West 35th Street from Aquila Avenue to Boone Avenue.
Extension in Boone Avenue from West 35th Street north 360 feet is hereby elim-
inated from this proceeding.

On motion of Councilman Middleton, seconded by Councilman Jorvig, the following
resolution having been read by the Secretary, was adopted by unanimous vote of
all Members of the Councilpresent:
RESOLUTION ORDERING SANITARY SEWER EXTENSIONS
WHEREAS the City Council has met at the time and place specified in the notice
published in the,St. Louis Park Dispatch March 31 and April 7, 1955, relating

persons appearing at said meeting acid has secured from the City Engineer a report
advising it in a preliminary way as to whether each proposed improvement is

ended; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park /that the
following public improvements be hereby ordered in accordance with plans and spec-

opened by the City Manager, June 8, 1955.

On motion of Councilman Perkins, seconded by Councilman Middleton, the follow-
ing resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of all Members of the Council present:
RESOLUTION CANCELING 53-90 GRADING #505 ASSESSMENT
WHEREAS it appears that by resolution of the Village Council adopted August
15, 1954, levying assessments for 53-90 Grading #505, the following lot was in-
advertantly assessed; and
WHEREAS the West half of Pennsylvaniaenue (which includes the above lot)
was -graded at the time the Plat of Turf & Paddock Addition was accepted by the
Village; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the en-
tire assessment for years 1955 thru 1957 heretofore levied against the following
lot be canceled, and that the Auditor and the Treasurer of Hennepin County be here-
by authorized to cancel the same 'upon their respective records.

On motion of Councilman Jorvig, seconded by Councilman Bolmgren, the following
resolution having been -read by the Secretary, was adopted by unanimous vote of
all Members of the Council present:
RESOLUTION APPROVING PERMANENT BUS ROUTES
BE IT RESOLVED that the routes for bus operations of Minneapolis Street Rail-
way heretofore approved as temporary routes over France Avenue from its most
northerly intersection with the east boundary of the Cicy, southerly to West 26th
Street alp thence West on West 26th Street to Natchez Avenue, and also south on
France Avenue from West 26th Street to Minnetonka Boulevard be hereby approved as
permanent routes, subject to the reserved right of the Council to impose such re-
gulations relating to use of such streets for bus purposes as may be deemed proper.
