RESOLUTION WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City Council that the County Board of Hennepin County has had under consideration the reconstruction or repair of the dam at the outlet of Lake Minnetonka at Grays Bay, which reconstruc- tion or repair appears necessary because of deterioration of the existing dam, and WHEREAS, a collapse of this dam would cause a disasterous flood which would result in great damage to public and private property in the vicinity of Minnehaha Creek in the City of St. Louis Park as well as elsewhere along the course of the Creek, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of ST. Louis Park that the County Board of Hennepin County be hereby memorialized to promptly undertake to rebuild or repair the Grays Bay Dam and to take all fullest precaution to avoid the hazard of such a flood. Resolution No. 32 Adopted March 14, 195J( Resolution memorilizing the Legislator of the State of Minnesota in opposition to H.F. 1243, the following motion having been read by the Secretary, on motion of Councilman Middleton, seconded by Councilman Bolmgren, was adopted by unanimous vote of all Members of the Council. RESOLUTI O N WHEREAS, experience with administration of Welfare Funds in the City of St. Louis Park has demonstrated that the administration of these funds by the Munici- pality is more efficient, economical and also on a more personal and humane basis than when administrated by a County wide governmental unit, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by City Council of City of St. Louis Park that it hereby express its opposition to H.F. 1243 which provides for administration of Welfare Funds by a County Administrative Unit, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the continuation of the Town method of poor relief administration in Hennepin County be hereby approved and supported. Resolution No. 33 Adopted March 21 1955 The following resolution, having been read by the Secretary, on motion of Councilman Hurd, seconded by Councilman Perkins, was adopted by the unanimous vote of all Members of the Council present: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis Park has heretofore undertaken to cause all streets dedicated in plat known as Cedar Knoll Manor 3rd Addition to be graded, stabilized and repaired in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer, it being estmated that the work will be oompleted by December 1, 1956, and
