Resolution,No. 176 Adopted November 7, 1955
On motion of Councilman Bolmgren, seconded by Councilman Davis, Resolution
No. 176, having been read by the Secretary, was adopted by unanimous vote of all
Members of the Council present.
RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMIT
UNDER SECTION 10.3 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARI(
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Council by Naegele Adver-
tising Company for permit under Section.10.3 of the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of St. Louis Park for the following purpose:
To erect a sign 161 9" by 501 at 6015 Highway No. 7 in
accordance with plan filed with the City Clerk for sign:
"Seirup la Sons Ford Dealer"
and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the advices and recommendations of
the Planning Commission and the effect of the proposed use on the health,
safety and welfare of the occupants of surrounding lands, existing traffic
conditions, including parking facilities on adjacent streets, and effect on
values and properties in the surrounding area, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that
it is hereby determined that the said proposed use will not be detrimental to
the health, safety or public welfare, to the occupants of surrounding lands,
nor will it cause serious traffic congesttion, nor hazards, nor will it
seriously depreciate surrounding property values, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permit be hereby granted to the applicant for
the purpose above set forth.

No. 177, having been read by the Secretary, was adopted by unanimous vote of all
Members of the Council present.
RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMIT
UNDER SECTION 10.3-32 of the ZONING ORDINANCE
of THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Council by Donald Shanedling
for permit under Section 10.3-32 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of St. Louis
Park for the following purpose:
To permit construction of 32 story office building Lots 10, 11
Ee 12, Block 2, Sunset Gables 2nd Div. on the NE Corner of Hunt-
ington Avenue and West Lake Street (Minnetonka Boulevard)
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the advices and recommendations of the
Planning Cofmmission and the effect, of the proposed use on the health, safety and
welfare of the occupants of surrounding lands, existing traffic conditions, in-
cluding parking facilities on adjacent streets, and effect on values and pro-
perties in the surrounding area, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that it
is hereby determined that the said proposed use will not be detrimental to the
health, safety or public welfare, to the occupants of surrounding lands, nor
will it cause serious traffic congestion, nor hazards, nor wi11 it seriously
depreciate surrounding property values, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permit be hereby granted to the applicant for
the purpose above set forth and any set back regulation for Huntington Ave. be
not less than six feet; said permit to be in condition that a buffer zone planted
with shrubs be maintained on the rear (or north) five feet of said lot.
