Resolution No. 173 Adopted October 31, 1955 Request for Exception to the Zoning Ordinance Request of Le Roy Sign Company dated October 18, 1955 for an exception to the Zoning Ordinance to permit the erection of a sign at 4950 Excelsior Boulevard for House of Vision, was read. Resolution N. 173 On motion of Councilman Hurd„seconded by,Councilma Middleton, Resolution No. 173 entitled Resolution granting Permit Under Section 10.E of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of St. Louis Park, to permit erection of a sign at 4950 Excelsior Boulevard for the House of Vision was adopted by unanimous vote of all Members of the Council present. RESOLUTION GRANTING,PERMIT UNDER SECTION 10.3 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Council by Le Roy Sign Company for permit under Section 10.3 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of St. Louis Park for the following purpose: TO ERECT AN ADVERTISING SIGN AT 4950 ElXCEGSIOR BOULEVARD 3' X 18' (54 s.f.) and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the advices and recommendations of the Planning Commission and`the effect` of ' the propose 'us o health,_ safety and welfare of the occupants of surrounding lands, existing traffic conditions, in- cluding parking facilities on adjacent streets, and effect`on values andproperties in the surrounding area, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of`the City of St. Louis Park that it is hereby determined that the said proposed use will not be detrimental to the health, safety or public welfare, to the occupants of surrounding lands, nor will it cause serious traffic congestion, nor hazards, nor will it seriously depreciate surround- ing property values, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permit be hereby granted to the application for the purpose above set forth.
