Resolution No. 138 - continued Adopted September 6,-1955
BE•J IT ,FURTHER=RESOLVED` that= the' Treasureris� hereby directed to reduce- the
Permanent Improvement Revolving Fund by a transfer to the Permanent Improvement
Revolving Fund Bond Sinking Fund No. 1 in the amount of $27,132.00, an amount
equal to the sum of the bonds and interest maturing during the:year 1956, to be
paid from the Sinking Fund.

On motion of Councilman Bolmgren, seconded by Councilman Hurd, the following
resolution, having been read by the Secretary, was adopted by unanimous vote of
all Members of the Council present:
RESOLUTI O N
WHEREAS, it -appears to the City Council that there is a sufficient sum of
monies in the Water Department Fund to pay the principal and interest on the
January 15, 1953 Series Water Tank Bonds maturing in the year 1956, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the levy for payment of said principal and interest con-
tained in resolution adopted December 15, 1952 is hereby canceled in the sum of
$20,317.00, and the City Clerk is hereby instructed to send a copy of this re-
solution to the County Auditor of Hennepin -County, Minnesota, and further, the City
Treasurer be authorized to transfer to the Sinking Fund Account for said January 15,
1953 Series Water Tank Bonds the amount of $20,317.00 from the Water Department
Fund and deposit same in the Citizens State Bank of St. Louis Park.

On motion of Councilman Middleton, seconded by Councilman Jorvig, the foll-
owing resolution having been read was adopted by the unanimous vote of all Members
of the Council present:
RESOLUTION ORDERING
SANITARY SEWER CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS the City Council has met at the time and place specified in the
notice published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch September 1 and 8, 1955, relating
to the public improvements hereinafter described and has heard all interested per-
sons appearing at said meeting and has secured from the City Engineer a report ad-
vising it in a preliminary way as to whether each proposed improvement is feasible
and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some
other improvements, and the estimated cost of the improvements;
THEREFORE, BE IT, RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park
that the following public improvements be hereby ordered: Construction of inter-
ceptor sewers( in the Village of Golden Valley to serve as an outlet for sanitary
sewers in that portion of the City of St. Louis Park lying north of the line des--
cribed as follows, which area will be hereby designated as Sanitary Sewer District
No. 4: All that part of the area of the City of St. Louis Park lying north and
west of a line described as follows:
commencing at the intersection ofthe St. Louis Park -Hopkins boundary with
Minnehaha Creek; thence Nfly and Wlly along Minnehaha Creek to the point
of intersection of the right-of-way of the Great Northern R.R. Spur track;
thence Nfly along said right-of-way to its intersection with Minnetonka
Blvd; thence west along Minnetonka Blvd.tto Virginia Ave; thence north in
Virginia Ave. to the north line of Lot 27,"Texa-Tonka; thence east along
said north line to the NE corner of Lot 27; thence NEfly along the northerly
lines of Lots 24 to 20 inclusive; thence north on the west line of Lot 14, Texa-
Tonka to the NW corner of said Lot; thence east along the north line of said
Lot 14 to Texas Ave., and continuing east parallel with Minnetonka Blvd. to
