HomeMy WebLinkAbout133 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1955/08/29Resolution No. 132 - continued SANITARY SEWER, WATER AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS 54-110/111/112 in Knollwood Plaza BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council that the proposed assessment rolls on file in the office of the City Clerk covering the cost of street grading and opening Improvement No. 54-113, in Xyloh Avenue from 35th Street to approx- imately 300 feet south, be -hereby adopted as ;special assessments against the lands named in said assessment roll and there be hereby levied against each of the respective tracts and parcels of land described therein the assessments in the respective amounts therein set forth and said respective tracts and parcels of land are hereby found to be benefited by said improvement in a sum equal to said respective assessments hereby levied. Said assessments shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of three years, the first of which shall be payable on the first Monday in January, 1956, with interest at 5% per annum. To the First installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1955, and to each subsequent installment shall be added interest for one year. Resolution No. 133 On motion of Councilman Davis, seconded resolution having been read was adopted by the the Council present. Adopted August 29, 1955 by Councilman,Hurd, the following unanimous vote of all members of RESOLUTION ADOPTING RULES ffOVERNING CONDUCT OF MEMBERS OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council 'of the City of St. Louis Park that Rules Governing Conduct of Members of the Fire Department, which have been prepared by the Firemen's Civil Service Commission in co-operation with the City Manager, Fire Chief and City Attorney and which are entitled "Rules Governing Conduct of the Members of the St. Louis Park Fire Department and the Volunteer Division Thereof," as amended at this meeting be hereby adopted, said rules to remain in effect until further order of the City Council, and that a copy thereof be kept on file in the office of the City Clerk Land one copy be posted in the Fire Station. Resolution No. 134 Adopted August 29, 1955 On motion of Councilman Perkins, seconded by Councilman Hurd, the following resolution, having been -read by the Sgcretary, was adopted by unanimous vote of all Members of -the Council present. RESOLUTION APPROVING ASSIGNMENT OF SECURITIES IN LIEU OF BOND WHEREAS the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park has designated the Northwestern National Bank of Minneapolis, Minneapolis,Minnesota as a depository for City Funds in an amount not to exceed $1,200,000.00 and WHEREAS the Northwestern National Bank has assigned the following securities in lieu of bond of public depository, and has asked that they be deposited with the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis: $1,000,000 U.S. Treasury Bonds of 1963; 21%, due August 15, 1963 - 200,000 U.S. Treasury Bonds of 1961, 21%, due November 15, 1961. now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED that said bonds and safekeeping request be hereby approved.
