Resolution No. 114 Adopted July 18, 1955 On motion of Councilman Middleton, seconded by Councilman Davis, the foll- owing resolution, having been read by the Acting Secretary, was adopted by un- animous vote of all Members of the Council present: RESOLUTION ORDERING SANITARY SEWER CONSTRUCTION WHEREAS the City Council has met at the time and place specified in the notice published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch July 7 and 14, 1955, relating to the public improvements hereinafter described and has heard all interested persons appearing at said meeting and has secured from the City Engineer a re- port advising it in a preliminary way as to whether each proposed imporvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connec- tion with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended; therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the follbWing public improvements be hereby ordered in accordance withplans and specifications which have been prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise for bids which will be opened at the meeting of the Council, August 1, 1955, at 10 A.M. IMPROVEKENT NUMBER LOCATION 55-54 SANITARY SEWER in West 36th Street from Wooddale Avenue to Webster Avenue; in Webster Avenue from West 36th Street to St. Louis Avenue; and in St. Louis Avenue from Webster Avenue to Yosemite Avenue. Resolution No. 115 Adopted ,July 18, 1955 On motion of Councilman Hurd, seconded by Councilman Perkins, the following resolution, having been read by the Secretary, was adopted by unanimous vote of all Members of'the Council present: RESOLUTION ORDERING WIDENING, GRADING & SURFACING OF WEST 36th STREET WHEREAS the City Council has met at the time and place specified in the notice published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch June 30 and July 7, 1955, relat- ing to the public improvements hereinafter described and has heard all interested persons appearing at said meeting and has secured from the City Engineer a report advising it in a preliminary way,as to whether each proposed improvement is feas- ible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the following public improvements be hereby ordered in accordance with plans and specifications which have been prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk, and it appearing that the cost of the grading will be less than $2,000.00, the Street Department is ordered to do the grading and bituminous treatment by day labor.
