HomeMy WebLinkAbout101 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1955/06/27Resolution No. 99 - continued proposed contract being read to the Council at its meeting June 20, 1955, and found to be substantially,in accord with the preliminary understanding, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that said resolution adopted June 6, 1955, be hereby amended with respect to the provisions thereof authorizing execution of said contract, and that the Mayor and Acting City Manager be hereby authorized to enter into the "Agreement for division of cost for grading, concrete surfacing and other related improvements of State Aid Road No. 3," County Project 5028, which has been submitted by the County of Henneiin and approved by the City Attorney Resolution No. 100 Adopted .lune 27, 1955 On motion of Councilman Bolmgren,,secorided by -Councilman Middleton; the following resolution, having been read by the Secretary, was adopted by unani- mous vote of all Members of the Council present: RESOLUTION ORDERING HEARING ON PROPOSED SANITARY SEWER RESOLVED by the City Council that the City Clerk be directed to publish notice of hearing at the Council meeting on July 11, 1955, at 8 o'clock P.M. on each of the following proposed sanitary sewer improvements: IMPROVEMENT NUMBER LOCATION 55-52 Yosemite Avenue from Brookside Avenue south across Minnehaha Creek to M.N. & S. Railway. Woodlane, from Yosemite Avenue to 450 feet East. 55-53 Quentin Avenue from 42nd Street to 41st Street. Resolution No. 101 Adopted June 27, 1955 On motion of Councilman Perkins,seconded by Councilman Davis, the following resolution, having been read by the Secretary, was adopted by unanimous vote of all Members of the Council present: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR TAX FORFEITED LANDS WHEREAS, the following described lots -have been forfeited to the State of Minnesota, for non-payment of taxes and said'lots form a part of a natural drain- age basin which has been acquired by the Citr of St. Louis Park for drainage pur- poses, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the Mayor and Acting Manager be authorized to execute an application in behalf of the Eity to the Board of County Commissioners of Hennepin County and State Tax Commi- ssioner for conveyance of the following described tax -forfeited lands to the City to be used for drainage purposes in connection with public streets in the vicinity.
