ORDINANCE NO. 2240-03
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ST. LOUIS PARK
ORDINANCE CODE CHAPTER 6: BUILDINGS AND
BUILDING REGULATIONS
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. The St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, Chapter 6 is hereby amended as follows:
ARTICLE II. PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS

Sec. 6-66. Minnesota State Building Code.
(a) Adopted. The Minnesota State Building Code, established pursuant to M.S.A. §§
16B.59 --16B.75, is adopted in its entirety, as amended, as the building code for the city.
The code is incorporated in this Code as if fully set out in this section
(b) Optional chapters adopted. As authonzed by M.S.A. § 16B.61, the following optional
chapters of the Minnesota Rules are adopted:
(1) Minnesota Rules Chapter 1306, Special Fire Protection Systems with ept
selection of Section 1306 0020 Municipal Option, Subp 2 and Section 1306.0030

(2) Minnesota Rules Chapter 1335, Floodproofing Regulations, parts
1335.0600--1335.1200
(c) Application, administration and enforcement. The application, administration and
enforcement of the state building code shall be in accordance with Minnesota Rules, Part

(d) Violations. A violation of the state building code is a misdemeanor.

Section 2 This ordinance shall take effect 15 days after its publication.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ST. LOUIS
PARK ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO
BUILDING AND
BUILDING REGULATIONS AMENDING
SECTIONS 6.99 AND 8.66
(Buildings and Building Regulations Ordinance)
This ordinance states that Sections 6-33 and 6-66 of the St
Louis Park Ordinance Code Chapter 6 Buildings and
Building Regulations shall be amended relative to lan-
guage changes including modifications to provisions regu-
lating refunds, adoption of the Minnesota State Budding
Code m its entirety, adoption of Minnesota Rules Chapter
1306 0020, Subd 2 and Section 1306 0030 Requirements,
option E 1 , Minnesota Rules Chapter 1335 0600-
1335 1200, apphcation, admimatration and enforcement
of the State Building Code in accordance with Minnesota
Rules Chapter 1300 and violation of the State Building
Code is a misdemeanor
This ordinance shall take effect 15 days after pubhcation
