AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ST LOUIS PARK
ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO ZONING BY
AMENDING SECTION 14 6-3 4
THE CITY OF ST LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN
Findings
Sec 1 The City Council has considered the advice and recomrnendation of the Planning
Commission (Case No 97-27-ZA)
follows
Sec 2 The St Louis Park Ordinance Code, Section 14 6-3 4 is hereby amended to read as
SECTION 14 6-3 4 OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL LIGHTING (Page 260)

Outdoor recreational facilities, such as baseball diamonds and other athletic playing fields
which are in existence at the time of this Ordinance, are exempted from the extenor
lighting standards of this ordinance because of their unique requirements for nightime
visibility and their limited hours of operation Outdoor recreational lights shall only
operate between the hours of 4 00 p m and 11 00 p m
Any new lighting or replacement lighting shall meet the provision of this ordinance except
for Sub -Section 14 6-3 3 G and I above Lighting facilities for these outdoor recreational
uses shall not exceed a maximum height of eighty (80) feet
Sec 3 The contents of Planning Case File 97-27-ZA are hereby entered into and made
part of the public hearing record and the record of decision for this case
Sec 4 This Ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication
