AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2067-96 AUTHORIZING
CREATION OF SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NO. 1
CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK
WHEREAS, The City of St. Louis Park created Special Service District No. 1 on June 3,
1996 by adopting Ordinance No. 2067-96
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to amend Section 8.01 of Ordinance No.
2067-96 relative to the by-laws of the Advisory Board.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES
ORDAIN:
Sec. 1. Section 8.01 of Ordinance No. 2067-96 shall be amended to read as follows:
8.01 Composition and Appointment. An advisory board to be known as the
Special Service District Advisory Board consisting of a number of members determined by the
City Council, at its discretion, who are residents of the District or owners (or their
representatives) of property within the District, may be created by the City Council by
Resolution. At the time of adopting a resolution, the City Council may approve a set of By-laws
which will govern the advisory board's activities. The City Council, at its discretion, may pass a
resolution terminating or suspending the advisory board.
Sec. 2 This Ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication.
