AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ST. LOUIS PARK
ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO ZONING BY
AMENDING SECTION 14.5-4.5(D) le -
THE CITY OF ST LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN
Findings
Sec. 1. The City Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the
Planning Commission (Case No. 95-35-ZA)
Sec. 2. The St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, Section 14:5-4.5(D) is hereby amended by
adding the following:

Conditions.
a A Bufferyard "C" shall be installed and maintained along any abutting
lot located within an "R" Use District. This bufferyard shall include a
fence "F3" which shall have the finished side facing the abutting
property and shall be adequately maintained. This provision shall not
require a fence within the required front yard or where it interferes
with traffic visibility as regulated by Section 14 4-6
b Structures that require night lighting shall be lighted according to a
lighting plan approved by the Director of Public Works which shall
include fixture specifications and demonstrate that off site impact will
be minimized in conformance with Section 14:6-3.0 Special Provisions
Regulating Exterior Lighting.
c. Access shall be to a roadway identified in the Comprehensive Plan as a
collector or arterial or shall be otherwise located so that access can be
provided without generating significant traffic on local residential
streets.
d The materials used in and placement of all signs shall be integrated
with the building design and architecture and shall conform with the
General Provisions and R-4 Use District Standards of Section 14:6-2.0
Sign Regulations.
e. The architecture of the building shall be residential in character
f The parking areas shall be set back at least 5 feet from any abutting lot
located within an "R" Use District and shall conform with all provisions
of Section 14 6-1 0 Off -Street Parking Ordinance.

Sec 3. The contents of Planning Case File 95-35-ZA are hereby entered into and
made part of the public hearing record and the record of decision for this case.
Sec 4. This Ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication.
