ORDINANCE NO. 94-2009 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ST. LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO ZONING BY AMENDING SECTION 14:5-7.3(C) THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Findings Sec. 1. The City Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the staff, Planning Commission (Case No. 94-44-ZA) and testimony and makes the following findings: a. The proposed change will not be in conflict with specific purposes of the zoning ordinance and will support the following stated purposes: A. Protect the residential, business, industrial and public areas of the community and maintain their stability. B. Promote the most appropriate and orderly development of the residential, business, industrial and public areas. C. Provide adequate light, air and convenient access to property. D. Limit congestion in the public rights-of-way. F. Provide for compatibility of different land uses. I. Enhance the aesthetic character and appearance of the City. K. Provide adequate off-street parking and loading facilities. Sec. 2. The St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, Section 14:5-7.3(C) is hereby amended by adding the following language: 14. RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS Conditions: a. The building housing the religious institution shall be at least 100 feet from any building located on abutting properties. b. Access shall be to a roadway identified in the Comprehensive Plan as a collector or arterial or shall be otherwise located so that access can be provided without generating significant traffic on local residential streets. c. No dwelling units shall be permitted on the site. d. The use shall comply with the parking requirements in Sections 14:6- 1.2 and 14:6-1.3 of this Ordinance. Sec. 3. The contents of Planning Case File 94-44-ZA are hereby entered into and made part of the public hearing record and the record of decision for this case. ,411 ©iii9f20119 Sec.4.
