The rate due and payable to the City by each water user with the City for water taken from the City water supply system for calendar year 1994 shall be $.606 per 100 cu. ft. All charges for single and multiple -family dwelling users shall be determined and payable on a quarterly basis, and all charges for commercial, industrial and institutional users shall be determined and payable on a monthly or quarterly basis provided, however, that there shall be a service charge to each water user for each quarter year period during which water service is furnished as follows: Meter Size 5/8 inch 3/4 inch 1 inch 1 1/2 inch 2 inch 3 inch 4 inch 6 inch 8 inch 10 inch 12 inch 1994 Service Charges Monthly Quarterly $3.16 $ 4.87 3.54 5.92 4.59 8.67 6.77 14.65 9.82 22.68 17.26 42.70 29.10 69.11 56.23 135.47 86.73 214.08 119.08 288.56 142.24 338.72 In case the meter is found to have stopped or to be operating in a faulty manner, the amount of water used will be estimated in accordance with the amount previously used for the comparable period of the last previous year. Where single and multiple -family dwelling service is for less than a quarterly period, the quarterly service charge will be prorated. (4) Automatic Sprinkler System. Where a connection is made to an automatic sprinkler system for a standby service only, a charge for such service shall be made on an annual basis for calendar year 1994 as follows: 2 inch pipe connection $ 24.32 3 inch pipe connection 32.39 4 inch pipe connection 48.65 6 inch pipe connection 64.81 8 inch pipe connection 81.03 10 inch pipe connection 97.21 12 inch pipe connection 109.19 /936 - 93 Section 9-231. Sewer Rental Rates. Charges for sewer service to residential and non-residential users within the City provided in Section 9-230 hereof for calendar year 1994 shall be: $1.16 per 100 cubic feet of water consumption as measured during the winter quarter (or otherwise determined in Section 9-231 (1), and a service charge of $2.92 monthly, or $8.75 quarterly per dwelling or account.
