ORDINANCE NO. 93-1927
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE BY THE CITY
OF PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE
SUBURBAN PLUMBING SUPPLY REDEVELOPMENT SITE
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. It has been requested that the City convey its interest in certain parcels of
land lying south of the south frontage road of Highway 7, west of Brunswick Avenue, north
of the Hennepin County Regional Railroad Authority right-of-way and east of the Soo Line
right-of-way to the St. Louis Park Economic Development Authority for inclusion in the
adjacent Suburban Plumbing Supply redevelopment site.
Section 2. The City Council has determined that their inclusion in the
redevelopment site is the only identifiable public need for the properties.
Section 3. It is hereby determined that the value of the City's interest being
conveyed is minimal, and that the City shall convey the properties described on the attached
EXHIBIT A for One Dollar ($1) to the St. Louis Park Economic Development Authority in
return for the later conveyance by the St. Louis Park Economic Development Authority of
the properties to the developer for inclusion in the Suburban Plumbing Supply
redevelopment site.
Section 4. The St. Louis Park City Council hereby directs and authorizes the Mayor
and City Manager to execute any and all instruments necessary to complete the conveyance
of the above cited properties to the St.Louis Park Economic Development Authority.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication0_3' ?3

Commencing at the northwest corner of Block 40; thence due west 24 feet;
thence south and parallel with the west line of said Block 40, to the
northwesterly line of the right-of-way of the Minneapolis & St. Paul Railroad
Company; thence northeasterly along the said right-of-way line to the
southwest corner of said Block 40; and thence north, along the west line of
said Block 40 to the point of beginning, all in Re -arrangement of St. Louis
Park, according to the map or plat thereof on file and of record in the office
of the County Recorder of Hennepin County, Minnesota.

said lot, distant 73.5 feet west of the most easterly corner thereof, to a point
in the southeasterly line of said lot, distant 82.4 feet southwesterly,

thereof, Block 41, Rearrangement of St. Louis Park, according to the plat
thereof on file or of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for
said Hennepin County. Together with that part of West 36th Street accruing
