LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO ZONING BY AMENDING SECTION 14:6-3.3 THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Sec. 1. The City Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the Planning Commission (Case No. 93-30-ZA). Sec. 2. Findings The City Council hereby finds the following: 1. Approval of the amendments is not inconsistent with the purpose of the lighting section of the Zoning Ordinance as stated in Section 14:6- 3.1 2. Adoption of the amendments will aid in the effective administration of the lighting section of the Ordinance by eliminating conflicting standards. 3. Adoption of the amendments will greatly decrease the number of lighting non -conformities which were created by the current ordinance provisions. Sec. 3. Section 14:6-3.3 (C and I) of the Zoning Ordinance shall be amended to read as follows: C. Measurements shall be made after dark at the property line. I. Light poles or standards for exterior lighting shall not exceed a height of 45 feet, except that poles or standards on the top level of parking structures shall not exceed 25 feet. Sec. 4. The contents of Planning Case File 93-30-ZA are hereby entered into and made part of the public hearing record and the record of decision for this case. Sec. 5. This Ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication.
