ORDINANCE NO. 1917-93
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ST. LOUIS PARK
ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO ZONING BY
AMENDING SECTION 14:6-1.3(A)(12)
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Sec. 1. The City Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the
Planning Commission (Case No. 93-7-ZA) as well as information received at the public
hearing on April 19, 1993.
Sec. 2. The City Council makes the following findings of fact:
1. Reducing the parking requirement for small medical and dental offices will
not adversely affect the provisions of adequate off-street parking facilities in
the City.
2. A small medical and dental office may reasonably be considered to have 2,500
square feet of floor area or less.
Sec. 3. The Section 14:6-1.3(A)(12) of the Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended to
read as follows:
12. Medical and Dental Office.
1. With floor area of 2,500 square feet or less: One (1) parking stall for
every two hundred fifty (250) square feet of floor area.
2. With floor area greater than 2,500 square feet: One (1) parking stall
for every two hundred (200) square feet of floor area.
Sec. 4. The contents of Planning Case File 93-7-ZA are hereby entered into and made
part of the public hearing record and the record of decision for this case.
Sec. 5. This Ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication.
