AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ST. LOUIS PARK MUNICIPAL CODE,
SECTION 12-506, TRESPASSING ON SCHOOL PREMISES
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Sec. 1. The St. Louis Park M nicipal Code is amended to read as follows:
Section 12-506. Trespassing on School Premises. No person shall
trespass in or upon any school by remaining upon said school premises
after being ordered to leave the school by a school official.
For the purpose of this section, "school premises" shall include all
buildings, facilities and property owned and operated by a school.
No person having been ordered by a school official to leave a school
and having left said premises, shall reenter said school without the
written permission of the school principal or the school official
who gave the order to leave the school.
Sec. 2. Penalty Clause. Any person who violates this ordinance shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished
with penalties as defined in Section 2-203 of the St. Louis Park
Municipal Code.
Sec. 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect on
December 3, 1992 (15 days after its publication).
