ORDINANCE NO. 1878-92
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY
PORTION OF VERNON AVENUE APPROXIMATELY 250 FEET
SOUTH OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF I-394
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. On December 18, 1991, the Planning Commission made a finding of no
public need for the subject property and recommended that it be vacated and conveyed to
the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Section 2. On January 21, 1992, the City Council passed first reading of an ordinance
vacating the subject property and set second reading for February 3, 1992. On February 3,
1992, the City Council passed second reading of the_ ordinance and adopted Ordinance No.
1877-92 vacating the subject property.
Section 3. The City Council hereby authorizes conveyance of the property described
in attached Exhibit A to the Minnesota Department of Transportation and the City
Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to
complete the conveyance, reserving however, a utility easement for any and all publicly or
privately owned public utilities including but not limited to water, sewer, storm sewer,
drainage, electric, telephone, telegraph, and gas, in an over the entire vacated street.
Section 4. The City Clerk is instructed to record certified copies of this ordinance in
the Office of the Hennepin County Register of Deeds or Registrar of Titles as the case may
be.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication.

Registered Land Survey No. 1484, Files of the Registrar
of Titles, County of Hennepin; thence run northerly on
a bearing of North 0 degrees 28 minutes 56 seconds West
along the west line of said Registered Land Survey No.
1484 for 238.81 feet; thence South 45 degrees 47
minutes 14 seconds West, 110.7 feet; thence South 0
degrees 28 minutes 56 seconds East, 40.93 feet; thence
run southeasterly 142.12 feet on a non-tangential curve
concave to the southwest, having a radius of 436.93
feet, a delta angle of 18 degrees 38 minutes 12 seconds
and a chord bearing of South 31 degrees 29 minutes 59
seconds East; thence South 89 degrees 46 minutes 35
seconds East, 7.08 feet to the point of -beginning.

conveyance to the State or the City's authority to deliver such
instruments. The easement agreement and conveyance document are,
however, required to be filed
