ORDINANCE NO. 1877-92
AN ORDINANCE VACATING PUBLIC STREET
PORTION OF VERNON AVENUE APPROXIMATELY 250 FEET
SOUTH OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF I-394
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. A petition in writing signed by a majority of all of the owners of all property
abutting upon both sides of the public street proposed to be vacated has been duly filed with
the City Clerk, requesting vacation of the public street, and the City Clerk has furnished a
copy of said petition to the City Manager who has caused a public hearing notice on the
requested vacation to be published in the St. Louis Park Sailor, on January 8, 1992. The St.
Louis Park City Council has conducted a public hearing upon said petition and has
determined that the public street is not needed for public purposes, and that it is for the
best interest of the public that said public street be vacated.
Section 2. The following described public street, as now dedicated and laid out within
the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park, is vacated:

reserving, however, a utility easement for any and all publicly or privately owned public
utilities including but not limited to water, sewer, storm sewer, drainage, electric,
telephone, telegraph, and gas, in and over the entire vacated street.
Section 3. The City Clerk is instructed to record certified copies of this ordinance in
the Office of the Hennepin County Register of Deeds or Registrar of Titles as the case may
be.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication.

described tracts Beginning at the southwest corner of
Registered Land Survey No. 1484, Files of the Registrar
of Titles, County of Hennepin; thence run northerly on
a bearing of Borth 0 degrees 28 minutes 56 seconds West
along the west line of said Registered Land Survey No.
1484 for 238.81 feet; thence South 45 degrees 47
minutes 14 seconds West, 110.7 feet; thence South 0
degrees 28 minutes 56 seconds East, 40.93 feet; thence
run southeasterly 142.12 feet on a non-tangential curve
concave to the southwest, having a radius of 436.93
feet, a delta angle of 18 degrees 38 minutes 12 seconds
and a chord bearing of South 31 degrees 29 minutes 59
seconds East; thence South 89 degrees 46 minutes 35
seconds East, 7.08 feet to the point of.beginning.
