LOUIS PARK MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO CORAL LICENSING PROVISIONS AND ADDING ANEW SECTION 13-116, "LICENSE RENEWAL OR REINSTATEMENT" THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. The St. Louis Park Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding Section 13-116 to read as follows: Section 13-116. License Renewal or Reinstatement. (1) Records. The City Clerk shall keep a record of City costs incurred to 1) enforce the conditions stated in the license; 2) enforce ordi- nance provisions applicable to the licensee; and 3) suspend or revoke a license. Such costs shall be tallied at the end of the licensing year and a report shall be prepared. Applications to renew a license shall include a copy of the report which reflects the City's costs in connection with the activities set forth herein. The City Council may require a licensee to reimburse the City's costs as a condition of renewing a license or rein- stating a license following suspension or revocation until the costs are paid in full. If a license is suspended or revoked pursuant to the proce- dures set forth in St. Louis Park Ordinance Code Section 13-115, the City Council may require payment of the City's costs as a condition of reinstate- ment. If the license is issued by the City Manager, the City Manager may require a licensee to reimburse the City's cost as a condition of renewing a license or reinstating a license following suspension or revocation. (2) Costs. City costs shall include law enforcement costs, legal fees, investigation, inspection and other professional fees incurred by the City due to the licensee's violation of applicable laws, ordinances, regulations and conditions of a license. Section 2. Severability. In case any one or more of the provisions con- tained in this ordinance shall for any reason be held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect, such invalidity, illegality or unenforce- ability shall not affect any other provision hereof, and this ordinance shall be construed as if such invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision had never been contained herein. Section 3. Penalty. Any persons violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished in accordance with Section 2-203 of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code. -2- Section 4.
