Water Rates (1). Rates. The rate due and payable to the City by each water user within the City for water taken from the City water supply system for calendar year 1992 shall be: First 3,000 cubic feet: $.572 per 100 cu. ft. Next 47,000 cubic feet: $.552 per 100 cu. ft. Over 50,000 cubic feet: $.531 per 100 cu. ft. All charges for single and multiple -family dwelling users shall be determined and payable on a quarterly basis, and all charges for commercial, industrial and institutional users shall be determined and payable on a monthly or quarterly basis provided, however, that there shall be a service charge to each water user for each quarter year period during which water service is furnished as follows: Meter Size 5/8 inch 3/4 inch 1 inch 11 inch 2 inch 3 inch 4 inch 6 inch 8 inch 10 inch 12 inch 1922 Service Charges Monthly Quarterly $ 2.98 3.33 4.32 6.38 9.25 16.27 27.43 53.01 81.75 112.25 134.09 $ 4.59 5.58 8.18 13.81 21.38 40.25 65.15 127.71 201.80 272.02 319.30 In case the meter is found to have stopped or to be operating in a faulty manner, the amount of water used will be estimated in accordance with the amount used previously for the comparable period. Where single and multiple -family dwelling service is for less than a quarterly period, the quarterly service charge will be prorated. (continued) (4) Automatic Sprinkler System.
