ORDINANCE NO. 18 4 2-9 0
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ST. LOUIS PARK MUNICIPAL CODE RELATED
TO ROLLER SKATING RINK HOURS OF OPERATION, CURFEW, AND PER-
MISSION FOR EXTENDED HOURS: SECTION 13-465(2) AND (3)
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. The St. Louis Park Municipal Code, Section 13-465(2) and (3),
is hereby amended to read:
(2) No operator of a roller skating rink shall-ermit any person under the
age of 16 years, unless such person is accompanied by parent, guardian,
or other adult person having authorized care and custody of such minor
person, to be in or about the licensed premises at any time between
the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. of the following day.
(3) (a) Any room or premises used for a roller skating rink shall be closed
and kept closed to the public, and no person shall be permitted to roller
skate therein between the days and hours set forth below and 7 a.m. of
the following day. However, on permit of the City Manager, such
premises may be kept open and roller skating may be carried on therein
at all times, except between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m., in any building so
constructed and maintained that sounds from activities within are not
audible in adjacent residential areas.
(b) Closing Hours:
Sunday 10 p.m.
Monday 10 p.m.
Tuesday 11 p.m.
Wednesday 10 p.m., and until midnight preceding a
public holiday or school vacation
day during the regular school year.
Thursday 11 p.m.
Friday 11 p.m.
Saturday 11 p.m.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect 15 days
after its publication (December 13, 1990)
