HomeMy WebLinkAbout1827-90 - ADMIN Ordinance - City Council - 1990/04/02r ORDINANCE NO. 1827-90 AN ORDINANCE CREATING AN UNINSURED LOSS FUND AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO THE FUND'S RETAINED EARNINGS ACCOUNT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989. The City of St. Louis Park does ordain: Section 1. That an Internal Service Fund be established called Uninsured Loss Fund for the propose of providing funds if losses exceed City insurance policy limits. Section 2. That the sum of $450,000 be transferred from the General Fund fund balance designated for loss reserves, account No. 01-2607, and that the sum of $300,000 be transferred from the General Fund unreserved, undesignated fund balance account No. 01-2602, to the following account for excess liability related to potential uninsured losses. 01-4579-35 Transfer to Uninsured Loss Fund $ 750,000 Section 3. That the contributed capital in the Uninsured Loss Fund, Account No. 79-3901 "Transfer from General Fund" be estimated in the amount of $750,000 resulting from "transfer" in Section 2. Section 4. That the City Manager be directed to cause the appropriate accounting entries to be made in the books and records of the City for fiscal year 1989.
