ORDINANCE NO. 1825-90
AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALLEY AND UTILITY EASEMENT
3550 HIGHWAY 100
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. A petition in writing signed by a majority of all of the owners of all property
abutting upon both sides of the alley and utility easement proposed to be vacated has been
duly filed with the City Clerk, requesting vacation of the alley and utility easement, and the
City Clerk has furnished a copy of said petition to the City Manager who has reported filing
of same to the newspaper, the St. Louis Park Sailor, on February 21, 1990, as directed by the
said notice and has conducted a public hearing upon said petition and has determined that
the alley and utility easement is not needed for public purposes, and that it is for the best
interest of the public that said alley and utility easement be vacated.
Section 2. The following described alley and utility easement, as now dedicated and
laid out within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park, is vacated:
1. That East 20 feet of that part of the West 30 feet of vacated Webster Avenue, lying
between the extensions across it of the North and South lines of Lot 18, Block 26,
"Rearrangement of St. Louis Park", according to the recorded plat thereof
2. That part of the vacated alley lying between the extension across it of the West line
of Lot 24, Block 26, and the west line of Webster Avenue,
ALSO, that part lying between the extensions across it of the East and West line of
Lot 13, Block 75, "Rearrangement of St. Louis Park", according to the recorded plat
thereof.
3. That portion of the vacated alley South of Lot 17, Block 26, "Rearrangement of St.
Louis Park", enclosed by the following described line:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot 17, then Westerly along the
South line of said Lot 17 a distance of 15.0 feet, then Southerly at right angles
to the South line of said Lot 17 a distance of 16 feet more or less to a point in
the North line of Lot 18, Block 26, "Rearrangement of St. Louis Park",
then
Easterly along the North line of said Lot 18 to the Northeast corner of said
Lot 18, then Northerly to the point of beginning.
4. That part of the vacated alley in Block 26, "Rearrangement of St. Louis Park", lying
Southerly of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad right-of-way and
Northerly of a line running from a point on the East line of Block 75, distant 80 feet
South from the Southerly line of said right-of-way to a point in the East line of Block
30, St. Louis Park Central Addition distant 40 feet South from the Southerly line of
said right-of-way.

5. All that part of the alley within Block 26, "Rearrangement of St. Louis Park", lying
West of the Northerly extension across said alley of the West line of Lot 24, Block 26,
and East of the East line of Xenwood Avenue, and Southerly of Chicago, Milwaukee,
St. Paul and Pacific Railroad.
Section 3. The City Clerk is instructed to record certified copies of this ordinance in
the Office of the Hennepin County Register of Deeds or Registrar of Titles as the case may
be. ,
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication.
