HomeMy WebLinkAbout1702-86 - ADMIN Ordinance - City Council - 1986/11/171 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1702-86 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING SALE BY THE CITY OF PROPERTY AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF HIGHWAY 7 AND OTTAWA AVENUE THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: WHEREAS, the City Council has determined there is no City public need for this property; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized on behalf of the City to dispose of the property to the highest bidder, provided the bid is at or above $50,000.00. Said disposition shall retain the utility easements and shall include in the Purchase Agreement a condition that any development of the property must address and comply with the redevelopment objectives and conditions of the area and the Highway 7 Corridor as set forth in the Development Program for-the-Highway--7-Corritior;--Highway-7- Development -District -Financing Plan: Tax Increment Financing District 85-1, April 1, 1985; and the Comprehensive Plan, as determined in the sole discretion of the City based upon Purchaser's submission of development plans satisfactory to the City.
