AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE SALE OF CITY PROPERTY
TO NORTHLAND ALUMINUM PRODUCTS INC.

The City of St. Louis Park does ordain:
Section 1 On December 17, 1985 the City Council approved project
No. 83-07 Ottawa Avenue, Beltline Boulevard railroad crossing.
Section 2 The project required the acquisition of right of way from
Northland Aluminum Products, Inc. They have agreed to deed to the City
of St. Louis Park the necessary right of way and of additional land to
the east 'which is severed from their land westerly of Ottawa Avenue.
Northland Aluminum will also pay the City of St. Louis park the sum of
$15;006t1 -1,-J.,
Section 3 The land proposed to be deeded by Quit Claim Deed to Northland
is legally described as follows;
Lots 6, 7, 8 and Lots 17 and 20 inclusive, Block 2, Lewiston Park, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, subject to a storm sewer and forced main sewer easement
30 feet in width, the center line of which is described as beginning at
a point in the West line of said Block 2, distant 77 feet North of the
Southwest corner of Lot 17, thence Easterly to a point on the East line
of said Block 2, distant 38 feet North of the Southeast corner of said
Block 2 and there terminating.

Lots 5 to 8 inclusive, Block 3, Lewiston Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota,
subject to a storm sewer and forced main sewer easement over the entire
parcel.

All, of Lots 9, 10 and 11 and that part of Lots 23, 24, 25 and 26, Block
5, Lewiston Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota, which lies Southeasterly
of the following described line:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Lot 23, thence North-
easterly to a point on the North line of said Lot 24, distant 100
feet West of the Northeast corner, thence continuing Northeasterly
to the Northwest corner of said Lot 9 and there terminating,
subject to a stormsewer and forced main sewer easement over the
entire parcel.
Reserving unto the City of St. Louis Park the perpetual right to
enter over, under and upon the above-cited easement for the purposes of
construction, reconstruction, installation, alteration, enlargement, inspec-
tion, maintenance and repair of the storm sewer and forced main sewer.
The City of St. Louis Park also reserves the perpetual right to maintain
such quantity of soil over said storm sewer and forced main sewer easement
to prevent the freezing of liquids therein.
This deed permits no access rights to Grantee over existing or renamed
Ottawa Avenue to or from the above-cited property.
Section 4 The St. Louis Park City Council hereby directs and authorizes
the Mayor and City Manager to execute any and all instruments necessary
to complete the sale of the above cited property, according to the terms
of the approved agreement. The title transfer document shall be in the
form of a Quit Claim Deed to Northland Aluminum Products Inc. a Minnesota
corporation.
, Section 5 This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its
publication.
