HomeMy WebLinkAbout1674-86 - ADMIN Ordinance - City Council - 1986/02/03ORDINANCE NO. 1674-36 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE DISPOSITION OF A PORTION OF BELT LINE BOULEVARD TO FRANZ KLODT & SON, INC. THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. The City Council of St. Louis Park, following a public hearing, approved the disposition of portions of City -owned property known as Belt Line Boulevard, by Ordinance No. 1671-86 dated January 6, 1986. Section 2. The City shall dispose of by Quit Claim Deed, a portion of the property listed in Ordinance No. 1671-86 to Franz Klodt & Son, Inc., said property is described in Hennepin County as follows: I. That part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 28, Range 24, Hennepin County, Minnesota lying 50.00 feet on each side of LINE 1 and 50.00 feet northerly of LINE 2 described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter of said Section 6; thence on an assumed bearing of south 88 degrees 47 minutes 27 seconds east along the south• line of said northeast quarter of the southwest quarter 618.28 feet to the actual point of beginning of said LINE 1; thence north 30 degrees 44 minutes 36 seconds east 1185.78 feet; thence north 59 degrees 15 minutes 24 seconds west 10.00 feet; thence northeasterly 594.53 feet along a nontangential curve, concave to the southeast having a radius of 1336.71 feet and a central angle of 25 degrees 29 minutes 00 seconds, the chord of said curve bears north 43 degrees 29 minutes 06 seconds east; thence north 56 degrees 13 minutes 36 seconds east 49.4Jfeet; thence northeasterly 1183.40 feet along a tangential curve, concave to the southeast, having a radius of 9632.80 feet and a central angle of 07 degrees 02 minutes 20 seconds to the terminus of said LINE 1 and the beginning of said LINE 2; thence continue northeasterly 1206.77 feet along last described curve, concave to the southeast, having a radius of 9632.80 feet and a central angle of 07 degrees 10 minutes 40 seconds; thence north 70 degrees 26 minutes 36 seconds east, tangent to last described curve, 237.52 feet to the intersection with the east line of said northeast quarter and said LINE 2 there terminating. Containing 5.05 acres. Consideration from Franz Klodt & Son, Inc. to the City will be in the amount of One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration. Section 3. Said quit claim deed shall contain a restrictive covenant running with the land which specifies that no portion of the property therein conveyed shall be used for or shall permit ingress or egress to or from France Avenue. Section 4. A quit claim deed for the above-cited property will be delivered to Franz Klodt & Sons, Inc. upon approval, by the St. Louis Park City Council, of the final plat of Belt Line Business Park, and upon approval by City staff of drainage, utility and pedestrian way easements, in favor of the City, when the foregoing is submitted by Franz Klodt & Son, Inc. for filing. .Section 5. The City Clerk is instructed to record a certified copy of this ordinance in the Office of the Hennepin County Register of Deeds. Section 6. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage. Adopted by the City Council February 3, 1986.
