HomeMy WebLinkAbout1660-85 - ADMIN Ordinance - City Council - 1985/09/03ORDINANCE N0. 1660-85 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE BY THE CITY OF THE PROPERTIES AT 3036 AND 3054 LOUISIANA AVENUE SOUTH THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Sec. 1 3036 Louisiana Avenue, Lot 24, Block 1, "Boulevard Heights" and 3054 Louisiana Avenue, Lots 19 and 20, Block 1, "Boulevard Heights", were purchased for the widening of Louisiana Avenue. There is no longer a need for the remainder of the lot and structure. Sec. 2 It is hereby determined that the reasonable value of said 3036 Louisiana Avenue is $63,600 and 3054 Louisiana Avenue is $73,400, totaling One Hundred Thirty -Seven Thousand Dollars ($137,000). Sec. 3 The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized on behalf of the City to execute a Contract for Deed for the sale and conveyance of the properties to Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Ritenour for the sum of $137,000 for Lots 19, 20 and 24, Block 1 „"Boulevard Heights", except the East 13 feet. Sec. 4 If at any time during the term of the contract for deed, the buyer fails to occupy the property located at 3054 Louisiana Ave. as his primary residence or sells the property to a party who does not occupy said property, the entire unpaid principal, together with accrued interest, shall be due and payable. Sec. 5 If at any time during the term of the contract for deed, the property located at 3036 Louisiana Ave. is sold to a party who does not occupy said property, the entire unpaid principal, together with accrued interest, shall be due and payable. Sec. 6 This ordinance, shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication.
