AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ST. LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE,
SECTION 4-201, "PRIMARY ELECTIONS"
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Sec. 1. The St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, Section 4-201, is
amended to read:
Section 4-201. Primary Elections. At the first regular meeting
of the City Council following the last day_ for filing nomination
petitions for any regular City election, the City Manager shall
inform the City Council in writing as to the petitions which
have been filed with the City Clerk. The Council shall, whenever
three or more candidates have filed for any City office, provide
through resolution for a primary election to be held for such
office on a date six weeks prior to the general City election and
in accordance with Section 4.03 of the City Charter.
Sec. 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect 15 days
after its publication.
