That the sum of $267,000 be transferred from the Salary Adjust- ment Appropriation of the General Fund, Account No. 01-4100-760-33, to the following accounts in the General Fund to provide appropriations for salary adjustments for fiscal year 1983: 01-4110-01 Legislative $ 1,000 01-4110-02 Administrative 8,750 01-4110-20 Personnel/Labor Relations 3,000 01-4110-03 City Clerk/Treasurer 4,000 01-4110-11 Elections/Voter Registration 400 01-4110-04 Assessing 12,450 01-4110-05 Accounting & Internal Auditing 12,000 01-4110-07 City Development 7,050 01-4110-08 Central Building Maintenance 5,200 01-4110-13 Police Protection 112,000 01-4110-14 Fire Protection 5,150 01-4110-15 Inspectional Services 20,350 01-4110-21 Engineering 19,900 01-4110-22 Street Maintenance 15,850 01-4110-23 Snow/Ice Removal 3,400 01-4110-24 Lighting/Traffic Control 4,000 01-4502-35 Transfer to Civil Defense Fund 900 01-4504-35 Transfer to Park and Rec. That the estimated revenue of the Civil Defense Fund, Account 02-3901 "Transfer from Other Funds", be re -estimated in the amount of $900 resulting from "Transfer" in Section 1, and•that said sum be appropriated from the Fund Balance of the Civil Defense Fund, Account 02-2602 to the following account for salary adjustments for fiscal year 1983: 02-4110-17 Civil Defense $ 900 Section 3. That the estimated revenue of the Park and Recreation Fund, Account 04-3901 "Transfer from Other Funds" be re -estimated in the ad- ditional amount of $26,000 resulting from "transfer" in Section 1, and that said sum be appropriated from the Fund Balance of the Park and Rec- reation Fund, Account 04-2602 to the following accounts for salary ad- justments for fiscal year 1983: 04-4110-36 Organized Recreation $ 5,150 04-4110-31 Westwood Hills EEC 2,350 04-4110-30 Park Maintenance 12,650 04-4110-26 Tree Maintenance 5,850 Total Park & Recreation Fund $ 26,000 Section 4. That the estimated revenue of the Office Services Fund, Account 77-3801 "Reimbursement from Other Funds" be re -estimated in the additional amount of $3,000 and that said sum be appropriated from the Fund Balance of the Office Services Fund, Account 77-2660, to the following account for salary adjustments for fiscal year 1983: 77-4110-68 Office Services $ 3,000 Section 5. That the estimated revenue of the Municipal Services Center Fund, Account 75-3801 "Reimbursement from Other Funds" be re -estimated in the additional amount of $7,450 and that said sum be appropriated from the Fund Balance of the Municipal Service Cen- ter Fund, Account 75-2660, to the following account for salary ad- justments for fiscal year 1983: 75-4110-67 Equipment Maintenance Shop $ 7,450 Section 6. That the estimated revenue of the Recreation Center Fund, Account 87-3901 "Transfer from Other Funds" be re -estimated in the additional amount of $5,600 resulting from "transfer" in Section 1 and that said sum be appropriated from the Fund Balance of the Rec- reation Center Fund, Account 87-2660 to the following account for salary adjustments for fiscal year 1983: 87-4110-52 Recreation Center $ 5,600 Section 7. That the sum of $14,000 be appropriated from the Fund Balance of the Water Utility Fund, Account 81-2660, to the following accounts for salary adjustments for fiscal year 1983: 81-4110-41 Administration and General $ 4,000 81-4110-42 Source of Supply 4,300 81-4110-43 Distribution 5,700 Total Water Utility Fund $ 14,000 Section 8. That the sum of $4,350 be appropriated from the Fund Balance of the Sewer Utility Fund, Account 81-2660, to the follow- ing account for salary adjustments for fiscal year 1983: 83-4110-32 83-4110-47 Storm Sewer Sewer Collection Total Sewer Utility Fund $ 2,250 2,100 $ 4,350 1 1 1 1 1 Section 9. That the City Manager be directed to cause the appropriate accounting entries to be made in the books and records of the City. Section 10. This ordinance shall take effect January 1, 1983. LOUIS PARK SUN (Official Publication) ORDINANCE NO 1590 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS AND PROVIDING APPROPRIATIONS FOR SALARY ADJUSTMENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31 1983 Summary This ordinance transfers funds from the Salary Ad- justment Appropriatton or Fund Bal- ance account,to various department accounts to provide appropriations for salary adjustments for year 1983 Effective Date' This ordinance shall take effect January 1 1983 Adopted by the City Council Febru- ary 7 1983 - (s) LYLE HANKS Mayor A copy of the full text of this or- dinance is available for inspection with the Cit Clerk (Feb 9 1983) -SLP 924 Excelsior Avenue West Hopkins, Minnnesota State of Minnesota County of Hennepin D K MORTENSON, being duly sworn, on oath says he is and during all times here stated has been the vice president and general manager of the newspaper know as The St Louis Park Sun and has full knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows (1) Said newspaper is printed in the English language in newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed space to at (east 900 square inches (2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at (east once every week (3) Said newspaper has 50% of its news columns devoted to news of local interest to the community which it purports to serve and does not wholly duplicate any other publication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter and advertisement (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipalities which it purports to serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at least 75% of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as second- class matter in its local post -office (5) Said newspaper purports to serve the City of St Louis Park, Golden Valley School District No 275 and Robbinsdale School District No 281 in the County of Hennepin and it has its known office of issue in the City of Hopkins in said county, established and open during its regular business hours for the gathering of news, sale of advertisements and sale of subscriptions and maintained by the managing officer of said newspaper or persons in its employ and subject to his direction and control during all such regular business hours and devoted exclusively during such regula. business hours and at which said newspaper is printed (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society (7) Said newspaper is made available at single or subscription prices to any person, corporation, partnership or other unincorporated association requesting the newspaper and making the applicable payment (8) Said newspaper has complied with all foregoing conditions for at (east one year preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below (9) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966 and each January 1 thereafter and affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the managing officer of said newspaper and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper He further states on oath that the printed Ordinance No . 1590 hereto attached as a part hereof was cut from the columns of said newspaper, and was printed and published therein in the English language once each week, for O11esuccessive weeks, that it was first so published on Wed the 9 day of February 19 83 and was thereafter printed and published on every to and including the day of 19 and that the following is a printed copy of the lower case alphabet from A to Z, both inclusive, and is hereby acknowledged as being the size and kind of type used in the composition and publication of said notice, to wit abcdefghij klm nopgrstu vwxyz Subscribed and sworn to before me this 9 MERIDEL M.
