1552
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE SALE
OF CITY' PROPERTY TO THE ALMOR COMPANY
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. On March 22, 1982, the St. Louis Park City
Council directed the City Manager to negotiate an agreement for
the sale of certain City property to the Almor Company as part
of an agreement between the City of St. Louis Park and the
Almor Company to settle pending litigation.
Section 2. The land proposed to be sold to the Almor
Company is described legally as follows:
Those parts of Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 25, 26, 27, '28
and 29, Block 162, Rearrangement of St. Louis Park, described
as follows: Commencing at the most Westerly corner of said
Lot 26; thence North 65 degrees 58 minutes 11 seconds East,_
assumed bearing, along the northerly line of said Lot 26, a
distance of 50.00 feet to the point of beginning of the tract
of land to be described; thence continuing North 65 degrees 58
minutes 11 seconds East, along the northerly lines of said
Lots 26, 3 and 2, a distance'of 415.58 feet to an intersection
with a line drawn 10 feet westerly of, measured at a right angle
to and parallel with the Easterly line of said Lot 2; thence
South 45 degrees 20 minutes 47 seconds East, along said parallel
line, a distance of 426.30 feet to an intersection with the
easterly extension of the southerly line of Lot 10, in said
Block 162; thence South 65 degrees 58 minutes 53 seconds West,
along said extended line, a distance of 70.60 feet to the most
easterly corner of said Lot 10; thence North 45 degrees 20
minutes 47 seconds West, along the easterly lines of said Lots
10 and 9, a distance of 63.59 feet; thence northwesterly a
distance of 526.51 feet, along a non-tangential curve concave
to the Southwest, having a radius of 552.97 feet, a central angle
of 54 degrees 33 minutes 18 seconds and a chord bearing of North
52 degrees 05 minutes 16 seconds West, to an intersection with
the southerly line of said Lot 26; thence South 65 degrees 58
minutes 11 seconds West, along the southerly line of said Lot 26,
a distance of 89.33 feet to a point in said southerly line of
Lot 26 distance 26.95 feet easterly from the most southerly corner
of said Lot 26; thence North 6 degrees 36 minutes 44 seconds East,
a distance of 57.65 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 3. The St. Louis Park City Council hereby
directs and authorizes the Mayor and City Manager to execute
any and all instruments necessary to complete the sale of the
property described in Section 2. The title transfer document
shall be in the form of a Quit Claim Deed to the Almor Company,
a Minnesota corpor`tion.
Section 4. This ordinance shall'take effect fifteen
days after its publication.

D K MORTENSON, being duly sworn, on oath says he is and during all times here stated has been the
vice president and general manager of the newspaper know as The St Louis Park Sun and has full,
knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows (1) Said newspaper is printed in the English language in
newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed space to at least 900 square inches
(2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least once every week (3) Said newspaper has 509
of its news columns devoted to news of local interest to the community which it purports to serve and doe;
not wholly duplicate any other publication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter and
advertisement (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipalities which it purports to
serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at least 75TO
of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as secondi
class matter in its local post -office (5) Said newspaper purports to serve the City of St Louis Park
Golden Valley School District No 275 and Robbinsdale School District No 281 in the County of Hennepin
and it has its known office of issue in the City of Hopkins in said county, established and open during its
regular business hours for the gathering of news, sale of advertisements and sale of subscriptions and
maintained by the managing officer of said newspaper or persons in its employ and subject to his
direction and control during all such regular business hours and devoted exclusively during such regula ,
business hours and at which said newspaper is printed (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each IssuE
immediately with the State Historical Society (7) Said newspaper is made available at single of
subscription prices to any person, corporation, partnership or other unincorporated association
requesting the newspaper and making the applicable payment (8) Said newspaper has complied with alp
foregoing conditions for at least one year preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below (9
Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966 and eac
January 1 thereafter and affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by th
managing officer of said newspaper and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is
legal newspaper
He further states on oath that the printed Ordinance No. 1552
hereto attached as a part hereof was cut from the columns of said newspaper, and was printe
and published therein in the English language, once each week, forOne successive weeks
that it was first so published on Wed the 28 day of April 19 82
and was thereafter printed and published on every to and including
