AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE SALE
OF CITY PROPERTY TO RICHATTI
INVESTMENT CORPORATION
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. On November 17, 1980 the St. Louis Park City Council
approved an agreement authorizing the sale of certain City property and
the option to sell other City property between the City of St. Louis Park
(City) and Richatti Investment Corporation (Richatti). The agreement
was subsequently signed and dated on March 25, 1981.
Section 2. The land proposed to be sold to Richatti is described
legally as follows:
That part of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, Block 160, Rearrangement of
St. Louis Park;
That part of Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 161, Rearrangement of St. Louis Park;
And that part of vacated Rex Avenue, all described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Lot 1, Block 160; thence
Southerly, along the Easterly line of said Lot 1, Block 160, to
the intersection of the Easterly line of said Lot 1, Block 160
with the Southerly right-of-way line of the Chicago, Milwaukee,
St. Paul & Pacific Railroad, said point being the point of begin-
ning of the land to be described; thence Southwesterly, along
said Soutl►erly right-of-way line, to a point on the Northeasterly
line of said Lot 6, Block 160, distant 75.40 feet Southeasterly
of the most Northerly corner of said Lot 6, Block 160; thence
Southwesterly, to a point in the center line of vacated Rex
Avenue distant 92.23 feet Southeasterly from its intersection
with the Westerly extension of the Northwesterly line of said
Lot 6, Block 160; thence Southeasterly along said center
line, to said Southerly railroad right-of-way line; thence
Southwesterly along said Southerly railroad right-of-way line
to its intersection with a line 136.60 feet Southwesterly of,
measured at a right angle to and parallel with the northeasterly,
line of said Lot 6; thence Northwesterly to the most Northerly
corner of said Lot 1, Block 161; thence Northeasterly along the
Northwesterly line of said Block 160 and the extension thereof
to a point in the Northwesterly line of said Lot 1, Block 160,
distant 50.00 feet Southwesterly from the most Northerly corner
of said Lot 1, Block 160; thence Southeasterly to the point of
beginning.
Section 3. The St. Louis Park City Council hereby directs and
authorizes the Mayor and City Manager to execute any and all instruments
necessary to complete the sale of the above cited property, according to the
terms of the approved agreement. The title transfer document shall be in the
form of a Quit Claim Deed to Richatti Investment Corporation, a Minnesota
corporation.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after
its publication.

D K MORTENSON, being duly sworn, on oath says he is and during all times here stated has been the
vice president and general manager of the newspaper know as The St Louis Park Sun and has full
knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows (1) Said newspaper is printed in the English language in
newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed space to at least 900 square inches
(2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least once every week (3) Said newspaper has 50%
of its news columns devoted to news of local interest to the community which it purports to serve and does
not wholly duplicate any other publication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter and
advertisement (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipalities which it purports to
serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at least 75%
of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as second-
class matter in its local post -office (5) Said newspaper purports to serve the City of St Louis Park,
Golden Valley School District No 275 and Robbinsdale School District No 281 in the County of Hennepin
and it has its known office of issue in the City of Hopkins in said county, established and open during its
regular business hours for the gathering of news, sale of advertisements and sale of subscriptions and
maintained by the managing officer of said newspaper or persons in its employ and subject to his
direction and control during all such regular business hours and devoted exclusively during such regula •
business hours and at which said newspaper is printed (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue
immediately with the State Historical Society (7) Said newspaper is made available at single or
subscription prices to any person, corporation, partnership or other unincorporated association
requesting the newspaper and making the applicable payment (8) Said newspaper has complied with all
foregoing conditions for at least one year preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below (9)
Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966 and each
January 1 thereafter and affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the
managing officer of said newspaper and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a
legal newspaper
He further states on oath that the printed Ordinance No. 1551
hereto attached as a part hereof was cut from the columns of said newspaper, and was printed
and published therein in the English language, once each week, for one successive weeks,
that it was first so published on Wed the 28 day of April 19 82
and was thereafter printed and published on every
to and including
the day of 19 and that the following is a printed copy
of the lower case alphabet from A to Z, both inclusive, and is hereby acknowledged as being the size and
kind of type used in the composition and publication of said notice, to wit
